How did you get into Pilates?
I started Pilates young to assist with ballet training. It taught me about my body, where strength comes from, and how to be safe in using my body.
Why do you love Pilates?
I love the mind-body connection in Pilates; you find freedom through connecting.
Why did you become an instructor?
Pilates gave me a new perspective after I recovered from an injury. I learned how to heal myself and prevent injuries, and I had to share that with others.
What makes your class special?
You work from a mindful place, and you’ll become an intelligent mover. After my class you’ll be more in touch with your body movements.
Why do you love teaching at New York Pilates?
I love teaching at New York Pilates because it’s a fun and safe environment.
How long have you been an instructor?
Do you prefer fitness or technical classes?
I prefer both, and try to make sure classes are technical and difficult.
