Instructor Founded, Instructor Led
Founded by Heather Andersen, a Pilates instructor with more than two decades of experience, New York Pilates started with a simple idea — to create a studio that had both a real vibe and real Pilates. We wanted a place where people could take a true Pilates class in a space that felt alive, modern, and inspiring. In doing so, we invented the category and became the original group reformer studio in New York City. What began as a vision for better classes quickly grew into something bigger — a movement that gives instructors the chance to build lasting, six-figure careers and students a consistent, high-quality experience they can trust.
